 AREA ACTIONS for October

 

Fireworks on the estate : Residents are concerned into the amount of firework related incidents beginning to occur on the estate. Residents feel it could escalate further Area Clean Up behind Longridge Road : Residents have brought up several issues in relation to the area of land behind Longridge Road to do with lighting and individual addresses

 

ASB by Grange shops : Residents have expressed concerns of groups of youths acting anti socially near to grange shops intimidating custom

 

 

September & August

 

Dog fouling : Dog fouling on pavements throughout the Grange estate has increased considerably causing several residents to express their concerns again  The dog warden has been making periodic visits to the area and the CBM/NPT has been monitoring the area. Residents have stated that the area seems to be a lot cleaner and have been ringing the dog warden on a more regular basis.

 

Hazel Grove Garages : Residents once again expressed there concerns regarding the state of the Garages on Hazel Grove behind the shops More information to be passed from gateway at the next PACT Although the garages have been demolished residents brought up how there was still ASB in the area. There have been no further problems this month and will continue to be monitored by local officers.

 

Antisocial behaviour arounf communal areas. Longridge Road and Maple Grove : Residents have expressed concerns of groups of youths acting anti socially in communal areas around Longridge Road and Maple Grove Gateway have cleared up the area, but there is still issues in the area which need are to be addressed again in the next month. There are issues such as lighting and individual addresses which are to be addressed to improve the area.

Dog fouling : Dog fouling on pavements throughout the Grange estate has increased considerably causing several residents to express their concerns This issues has been raised with the local council and contact details for the dog warden have been distributed to all residents

 

Hazel Grove Garages : Residents expressed there concerns regarding the state of the Garages on Hazel Grove behind the shops Gateway have updated regarding this. Garages are due to demolish them date to be confirmed at  next pact

 

Stone Throwing on Fir Trees Avenue : Residents have expressed concerns of groups of Youths throwing stones at each other and properties.

 

June

 

Dog fouling on pavements throughout the Grange estate has increased considerablycausing several residents to express their concerns   This issues has been raised with the local council and contact details for the dog warden have  been distributed to all residents.

 

Several residents are fly tipping behind a block of flats on Rowan Avenue Gateway were contacted and the rubbish has been removed by the cleansing department

 

 

May

 

1. Anti social behaviour in the garages on Hazel Grove - Evenings - Youths gathering in and around the garages on Hazel Grove behind the local shop. High visibility patrol conducted on a daily basis with numerous stops/ searches completed. Several acceptable behaviour contracts have also been utilised this month which are having a positive effect with groups being moved from the areas concerns. The area has had a decrease in the amount of calls relating to ASB

2. Anti social behaviour on Grange Avenue - Evenings - During the evenings youths are gathering on Grange Avenue sitting on metal street furniture being noisy until late in the evening
High visibility patrol conducted on a daily basis with numerous stops/ searches completed. Several acceptable behaviour contracts have also been utilised this month which are having a positive effect. The area has had a decrease in the amount of calls relating to ASB. Gateway have been spoken to and the maintenance people are to fix and secure the garages in the next couple of weeks.

April

 

1. Anti social behaviour – ASB throughout the Grange estate
High visibility patrol conducted on a daily basis with numerous stops/ searches completed. Several acceptable behaviour contracts have also been utilised this month which are having a positive effect

2. Motorbike/ Mini moto’s - 4 Motorbikes have been seized this month with the same number of persons reported for summons for offences relating to reiding motorbikes in and anti social manner

3. Dog Fouling - This issues has been raised with the local council and contact details for the dog warden have been distributed to all residents
