Disorderly and anti social behaviour - Fulwood Hall Lane. : Increased evening visibility and proactive attention to reports of anti social behaviour in Fulwood Hall Lane. Aligned response patrols to provide additional patrols. Local residents are encouraged to report all incidents of concern to the police. Sporadic reports continue, particularly early morning. Ongoing Priority

 

Unsightly area behind shops/ White Hart Pub, Watling Street Road. : Further community consultation and tasking of quotes for gating off the area prior to clean up work

 

Youth Nuisance - Melrose Avenue . Consistent reports of children targeting a specific residence with stone throwing and verbal abuse to the occupan

Environmental Offences/ Fly tipping/ Dog fouling across the Ward : Liaison with and assistance to council enforcement officers/ Cllrs to highlight responsible environmental practices.

 

Unsightly area behind shops/ White Hart Pub, Watling Street Road. : Following community consultation, quotes for gating to be obtained before clean-up work commences

Misc Speeding and Traffic issues Longsands Lane/Anderton Way : County Cllr. Welsh to be asked to attend next pact meeting to explain Eastway improvement scheme and consideration of pedestrian rights Cty. Cllr Walsh gave update to PACT meeting 01/10/09 re eastway improvent scheme. In Summary, that pedestrian/traffic enhancement  for the area. The Plan has been approved/budgeted and waiting  release of funding from the HCA  in conjuntion with Highways agency. This is an open-ended issue with no current timescale for the release of funds

Police communications to note PACT priority deployment. Aligned response patrols to provide additional patrols. Local residents are encouraged to report all incidents of concern to the police. Sporadic reports continue, particularly early AM. Pact priorities to remain Antisocial behaviour Significantly reduced to the satisfaction of local residents

 

Unsightly area behind shops/ White Hart Pub, Watling Street Road. : Partnership initiative for community Clean-Up in August and gating off of ginnel between Pub and shops prior to September . Ongoing

 

Misc Speeding and Traffic offences Kennington Road : Aligned traffic officers and supervision to be made aware with a view to priority enforcement. CBM to refer matter to Preston Strategic MATAC meeting to encourage wider community consultation/communication re increasing concerns of speeding and pedestrian vulnerability. School, and Parkwise to continue.Further community consultation required re responses ongoing

Disorderly and antisocial Behaviour, Geneva Rd, Lucerne Rd, Lucerne Close Complex  : Increased evening visibility and proactive attention to reports of ASB in the  Geneva Road/ Lucerne sheltered complex. Police communications to note PACT priority deployment. Aligned  response patrols to provide additional  patrols. Local residents are encouraged to report all incidents of concern to the police.CBM in liason with local housing partnership with a view to permanent resolution of ongoing problems.Increased evening visibility and proactive attention to reports of ASB in the  Geneva Road/ Lucerne sheltered complex. Police communications to note PACT priority deployment. Aligned  response patrols to provide additional  patrols. Local residents are encouraged to report all incidents of concern to the police.

CBM in liason with local housing partnership with a view to permanent resolution of ongoing problems.  Root causes of problem now identified an being dealt with by numerous local agencies in partnership.

Harassment etc. Partnership work with Kennington School, and Parkwise to continue..Summer holidays have negated many issues for now. CBM to liaise with school re ongoing  road safety input to

Anticipated rise in Summer  burglary offences. CBM to work with Neighbourhood WatchTeam  and residents to highlight awareness and security precautions during next month.No significant increases reported. Operation doors and windows to continue.

Speeding and traffic dangers on Andertons Way and Longsands Roundabout  Numerous traffic  matters on Longsands to be fully tabled in meeting with Cllr. Greenhalgh and  C.Cllr. Welsh 11/05/08 Eastway improvement scheme now in place. Possibilities for speeding enforcement limited by works restrictions. Residents concerns re speed management minuted in Preston City Council’s  Fulwood North Traffic Management meeting 11th May 2009
