Monitor the area of Tabley Lane for HGV using the area and causing issues for motorists and pedestrians

Complaints of 2 dangerous dogs from Topland's Farm near to The Orchard in Woodplumpton Village
September & October
Catforth and Woodplumpton Villages : Target speeding motorists around the areas of Tabley Lane , Woodplumpton and Catforth Village Speeding continues to be an issue. This priority is to remain during the next month
Catforth and Woodplumpton Villages : Monitor The Orchard playing field and around Woodplumpton Primary School for on-going juvenile nuisance problems. Small groups congregating in the area causing nuisance for residents nearby Neighbourhood Policing Team have provided a high visible presence in the area during the last few months and no issues have been noted.
Barton Village : Look in to juvenile nuisance around the areas of Holmeswood Crescent, Ashbank Crescent, and Forrest Grove. On going issues with minor criminal damage being caused No further damage has been caused during the last few months; the area has been monitored by the neighbourhood policing team
July & August
Woodplumpton & Catforth: Look in speeding issues on all rural roads. Road Policing Unit have monitored the area and targeted any motorists speeding or using mobile phones. Priority to continue over the next few months and it is a major concern for residents.
Catforth & Woodplumpton : Monitor local schools and parks for underage drinking and anti-social behaviour throughout the summer holidays.No major issues during the school holidays. Schools all checked and all in order. The area of The Orchard is to be monitored as there have been some complaints of juvenile’s being rowdy
Woodplumpton: Continual monitoring of the traffic chicane system; that motorist are complying to the give way signs No issues with the chicane system through Woodplumpton Village.

Woodplumpton & Catforth: Look in speeding issues on all rural roads.
Catforth: Reassurance Catforth/Bartle area with respect of rural garage/shed burglaries and arrest offenders
Catforth: Check for vehicles causing obstruction/untaxed in the Roots Lane/Blackleach Lane areas.
May April
Look in speeding issues in particular Tabley Lane , Hoyles Lane , Blackleach Lane and Catforth Road SPID deployment through out the areas
Continue to monitor cyclists without lights Ongoing spot checks before and after school, and educational inputs given
Give crime prevention advice to residents within the villages regarding house and shed security as there has been an increase in burglaries in the areas High visibility throughout the villages prevention advice given via newsletters

Monitor the proposed traffic calming system for Woodplumpton Village Road Policing Unit have been paying attention to the area and advising any motorists not adhering to the traffic calming system in the area Monitor HGV's using Hoyles Lane andBartle Lane Neighbourhood Policing Team have monitored the area since the last meeting and no further issues have arisen Look into proposed layout outside the Wheatsheaf The proposed chicane outside the Wheatsheaf has been removed and a speed bump has been put in its place reducing any issues or matter of concern by residents

The pole still needs to be erected in order that a bracket can be placed on it. S.P.I.D. locations read out Request for S.P.I.D. to be placed Between Catforth Village Hall and Swillbrook Bridge Request also for S.P.I.D. to be placed towards the Inskip end of the Village on Catforth Road.

1 – Police Presence -Discussed from last meeting. Interviews for extra PCSOs to be held in August, with new recruits to join in September and be fully independent by Christmas once they have undergone training. Refurbishment has finished on the Police Station.
2 – Woodplumpton/ Catforth speeding issues - Discussed speed reductions and a need for the speed to be reduced near the school at Catforth from 40mph to 30mph. Inspector Ainsworth is pushing for the speed to be reduced in housing areas to 20mph, however this is an extremely slow progress. A number of people were found to be speeding by the traffic night patrol who were stood on the side of the road in Catforth between the hours of 6-7am. Member of Parish Council confirms there are plans to look at speeding issues in Catforth.
3 – Publicity of the ‘Neighbourhood Watch Scheme’ - Mrs Clark has been put forward as the Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator.
