Also to dicuss moving the post box further along. Members of the public will also make a note of offending vehicles parked up illegally outside the shop and pass the details onto the police to action.

ASB issues at both primary schools on Whitby Ave and Tanterton : Many reports are being received from residents and school head about teenagers drinking, climbing on the roof and causing damage around both Ingol primary schools and Holy family school. Also a burglary at Pool House school, Kidsgrove.

Cost Cutter licensing: Cost Cutters have now been given an alcohol licence which permits them to sell alcohol between 08:00 hrs and 23:00 hrs.

This is anticipated to attract ASB. They are not currently selling alcohol as yet. Majority of offences seem to be drive offs

Alcohol abuse Behaviour/ Post office Tagg lane Parking on crossing markings

Traffic is being monitored at Bargain Booze during peak times. A number of vehicle owners have been spoken to and verbally warned. Letters have been sent out to registered keepers of these vehicles. A number of vehicles were noted to be deliveries to the store itself. The owner was spoken to regarding this and licensing have been updated. Leaflets have also been displayed in the store window warning customers of careless parking, and the fact there is parking at the rear of the store.

Juvenile ASB Threefields Youths throwing stones, damageing walls and fence panels

Reports of young children out and about on the street late at night. A number of reports have been given to Place’s For People the local housing provider for the area who are now aware of the fencing issues on the estate. Unfortunately due to funding issues any unsightly fencing can only be pulled down rather than replaced. An information leaflet has been sent out by the police to all the residents on Threefields advising them about the problem of youth nuisance and to report when necessary. The football nets have now been reported to Places for People and are due to be taken away over the coming week. Extra high visibility police patrols have also been done and will continue for the next few weeks. Joint visits are arranged with Police and Places for People.

Petrol Express Cost cutters applying for alcohol License

Costcutters, also known as Petrol Express on Tag Lane have been successful in their application to get a licence to become an OFF LICENCE. Local residents have concerns that the Ingol and Tanterton area already have a large number off licences in the area and with it being next to a pub may bring Anti social problems to the area. Police to monitor any ASB/ CRIME at the garage.
