Priorities for November
Alcohol Abuse Behaviour (Parking issues on zig zag at Bargain Booze): Bollards have now been erected on the Zig Zags in front of Bargain Booze Store to prevent any future parking Issues, Police to monitor
Recycling Plant Tom Benson Way : Increased reports of Damage and theft are being made due to the site being empty. At night people are going into the site and throwing all sorts of rubbish around the site and stealing metal
Barmouth Court : Youths congregating in the foyer smoking and damaging the main entrance door.

Alcohol Abuse Behaviour (Parking issues on zig zag at Bargain Booze): Policing team including traffic and aligned response teams to monitor parking on Zig zags and enforcing the law by ticketing offending vehicles. Police/Traffic Police to continue monitoring parking at various times throughout day. Cllr Bill Shannon commented that planning people, police and council need to sit together to move forward permission for customers to park to the rear of the property and also to install bollards at the front next to zig zags. Also to dicuss moving the post box further along. Members of the public will also make a note of offending vehicles parked up illegally outside the shop and pass the details onto the police to action Bollards are now to be erected on the Zig Zags in front of Bargain Booze Store to prevent any future parking Issues, This is being funded by Impact although the paper work has to be submitted from Highways, This will probably now be looked at approx October 2009. Mr Patel the store Manger is on board and supportive of this. ASB is also being monitored by the Neighbourhood Policing Team, although no recent issues. Although a reduction in vehicles parking outside the shop there are still the odd offending vehicle. Police to continue to monitor . Many reports are being received from residents and school head about teenagers drinking, climbing on the roof and causing damage around both Ingol primary schools and Holy family school. Also a burglary at Pool House school, Kidsgrove. Fencing has now been erected at Ingol primary. Tulketh High School now has 24 hour on site security and as a result the Police have had no reports of any kind. Police will continue to monitor all the schools.
The recycling centre has been visited by the NHPT and details have been obtained off the CCTV company. It appears offenders are using a 30 meter stretch of fencing to gain access which runs along the banking of Tom Benson Way. Further enquiries have been made to ensure the existing CCTV cameras are realigned to capture the offenders at this point. There are regular patrols of the site by Police.
Fireworks : Few reports of firework related problems. Although still to be monitored by NHPT there is no requirement for it to remain a priority

ASB issues at both primary schools on Whitby Ave and Tanterton : Many reports are being received from residents and school head about teenagers drinking, climbing on the roof and causing damage around both Ingol primary schools and Holy family school. Also a burglary at Pool House school, Kidsgrove. The Head Mrs Fish of Ingol Primary has given permission for the youths to play football on the play area although she does not want them to climb on the roof. This is anticipated to attract ASB. They are currently selling alcohol as yet. Majority of offences seem to be drive offs
House on Tagg Lane This address is believed to be used for car repairs and therefore as a business. As the occupants do not have a business license they are breaching regulations. The Police have been asked to monitor any traffic violations at the address.

Also to monitor ASB, particularly youths trying to buy alcohol Juvenile ASB Threefields Youths throwing stones, damageing walls and fence panels Threefields: Anti social behaviour problem from local youths in the area of Threefields, youths throwing stones, damaging walls and wooden fence panels and playing football in the street. Petrol Express Cost cutters monitor alcohol License and ASB Tagg Lane Cost Cutters have now been given an alcohol licence which permits them to sell alcohol between 08:00 hrs and 23:00 hrs. This is anticipated to attract ASB.
